Regional Director of Business Development Brent Honea is in charge of 1st Global’s business development efforts in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada. Brent consults with small to large tax, accounting and legal firms that are currently offering financial services as part of their practice and helps them develop a comprehensive wealth management focus that utilizes state-of-the-art technologies and sophisticated management platforms. He also consults with professional firms that are considering adding wealth management to their menu of service offerings.
Brent has worked within the financial services industry for more than 16 years. Prior to joining 1st Global, he served as a regional retirement consultant for Fidelity Investments assisting current corporate retirement plan clients in implementing plans for their retirement. Brent was also vice president of Sales at National Financial (Fidelity Investments) where he was responsible for developing new correspondent broker/dealer relationships on the West Coast.
Brent graduated with a Master of Business Administration in Finance from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is a registered representative who passed the FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 examinations, and he holds the California Life and Health Insurance License. |
