Even if you intend to offer only mutual funds as an investment vehicle, you will from time to time have clients that need to buy or sell some stocks or bonds. Rather than being unable to assist them and receive payment for that assistance, why not be able to meet all your clients needs? Also, many states require a Series 7 and Series 65 license in order to offer fee-based asset management. |
