Cindy Gourd

Manager of Resolution Support, Transitions and Continuous Improvement

Cindy Gourd is the manager of the Resolution Support, Transitions and Continuous Improvement departments at 1st Global, where she oversees several projects regarding client suitability, the return-mail process, Docupace Starting Point (the dashboard for form generation and auto-filling to initiate the straight-through processing solution with Docupace, a leader in SEC/FINRA-compliant paperless office services for financial firms), and National Financial Services (NFS) tools. She began her career at 1st Global in 2005, previously serving as the director of the Cashiering Department and director of the Transfer of Assets (TOA) Department.

Cindy received her Bachelor of Science degree in market management from the University of Arkansas and was led to the financial services industry because of her love to do meaningful work and play a key role in helping others in a fast-paced environment. Prior to 1st Global, she gained valuable experience in the industry at LD Lowe Sr. Financial Advisory. In her current role at 1st Global, she enjoys being able to see the projects she works on come to completion, and she values helping develop solutions throughout the process to assist others with their retirements and children’s educations and achieving their own fiscal security. She has passed her FINRA Series 7 and 24 exams.
